Malai Mushroom

  • Oil
  • Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Onion - 1 medium
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Tomato puree - 1 cup
  • Chilli pdr - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric pdr - 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper pdr - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin pdr - 1/2 tsp
  • Corriander pdr - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Cream - 1 tsp(opt)
  • Corriander leaves for garnishing

To oil add cumin seeds, mustard seeds. After the seeds splutter, add onion and saute till the onion turns golden brown in color. Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell leaves and ur kitchen is filled with a nice aroma
Time to add the tomato puree, turmeric pdr, chilli pdr, cumin pdr, corriander pdr, pepper pdr, garam masala and salt. Cook this on medium flame for 3 mins and when the tomato puree thickens to a gravy consistency add mushrooms
Cook the mushrooms for another 2 mins such that they get half cooked.
Now add milk on a low flame and saute for 5 mins. The gravy should not be watery.Garnish with corriander leaves and cream(opt). Tasty Malai Mushroom is ready to serve. Goes excellent with rice and roti.
