Arisi Roti

Ingredients needed :
  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Salt - as reqd.
  • Oil - 2 tsp.
Method :

In a kadai add water and salt and allow it to boil well. Once it is boiling , turn the gas to medium flame.., and add the rice flour slowly and keep stirring it will get thick as a dough , switch off the gas and keep it aside and allow it to cool
Once cooled, add 2 tsp. oil to the dough and knead it well then take medium size ball , dough and roll it slowly like chapathi ,heat tawa , and fry this roti , on both the sides. If needed add oil and fry
    Goes well with any kurma and also onion chutney.


    1. this is similar to aripathiri that is made in kerala. For that we cook the rice almost 3/4 done and then grind it into dosa batter and then pour it like dosa. will try your version do u make this onion chutney?
