Ingredients :
- Small Onions
- vegetables (Brinjal ,Pumpkin ,Potato,Beans,Peas )
- Cooked Moong Dhall
- Turmeric Powder
- Jeera Powder
- Dhaniya Powder
- Chilli Powder ( see below for preparing it )
- Hing powder
- Coriander leaves
Chilli powder :
- Red Chillis
- Dhaniya
- Urid Dhall
- Channa Dhall
- Groundnuts
Roast all the above ingredients in a kadai by adding few drops of oil and grind it into fine powder...u can also store it for more days...
For Tempering :
- Mustard
- Urid Dhall
- Channa Dhall
- Jeera
- Curry leaves
Method for preparing Sambhar :
Peel the skin of small Onions and cut Tomato and all vegetables ...Heat Kadai and add oil and temper with the above ingredients add onions and fry well , now add tomatoes and all vegetables and boil it with little water,salt and turmeric powder.
Once the vegetables are cooked add Chilli powder, jeera powder ,dhaniya powder,Hing and allow it to boil for 10 mins...Once it gets thick , remove from the stove and add coriander leaves...
Serve Hot with Iddli or Dosa...
