Ingredients Needed :
- Any Cooked Beans
- Onion
- Tomato
- Vegetables (Carrot,Cauliflower,Capsicum,
potato) (optional) - corriander leaves
- Dhaniya powder
- Garam Masala powder
- Chilli Powder (pinch)
- Jeera / Jeera powder
- Salt to taste
For Grinding :
- Pottu Kadalai
- Green Chilli
- Ginger
Method :
- Soak the beans overnight and pressure cook and keep it ready.
- Cut onions , tomato and all other vegetables.
- Grind all ingredients by adding little water and keep it ready.
- Heat kadai and add little oil and temper it with jeera,
- Add onions and saute well...then add tomatoes + vegetables + salt and add little water and boil it till the vegetables are cooked ...
- Now add the beans , and the grinded paste + Jeera powder (opt) + Garam Masala powder + Chilli powder (a pinch )..
- u can also add the water used for boiling the beans...and let it boil for 5 or 10 mins...
- and garnish with coriander leaves..
Kurma is ready..and best goes with Chappatti , Dosa.
