Cabbage Diet Soup - Easiest Version
Ingredients:
- Oil or butter
- Onion (1 medium )
- garlic ( 3 cloves)
- cabbage (1/4 of the whole cabbage)
- salt
- pepper
- Corriander leaves or spring onions or croutons
Oil + Onion + garlic --> Saute till onion turns pink (oil can be replaced with 1 tbsp of butter).
Add Cabbage to this and saute for 2 mins. Cook the above mixture with water in a pressure cooker for 1 whistle. I usually use the microwave and cook for 3 - 5 mins. Grind this mixture to a smooth texture. Seive and grind more than once if req. In a saucepan, pour the grinded mixture and add salt and pepper @ a low flame. Keep on low flame for 2 mins. Garnish with spring onions or corriander leaves or croutons
