Ingredients Needed :
- Methi leaves - 1 bunch
- Cooked Toor dhall - 1 cup
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 1
- Tamarind extract - 1 cup
- Sambhar powder - 1 1/2 tsp.
- Oil - 1 tsp.
- Salt - as reqd.
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp.
- Jeera - 1/4 tsp.
Method :
Remove the methi leaves from the stem , clean it and keep it aside,Chop Onions and tomato finely and keep it aside. In a kadai add oil + mustard seeds + jeera + onions and saute well ,add tomatoes + methi leaves and saute well ,then add sambhar powder + salt + tamarind juice and allow it to boil then add cooked toor dhall , allow it to cook well till it gets thicker.
