Avarakkai curry
Ingredients needed :
- Avarakkai / Broad beans - 1/4 kg.
- Onions finely chopped - 2
- Tomato finely chopped - 2
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp.
- Urid dhal - 1/4 tsp.
- Channa dhal - 1/4 tsp (opt.)
- Chili powder - 1/4 tsp (or as reqd.)
- Salt - as reqd.
- Oil - 2 tsp.
Method :
Clean and chop avarakkai lengthwise , and keep it ready in a kadai add oil + mustard seeds + urid dhal + channa dhal then add onions and fry well , then goes the tomatoes + chili powder + salt and fry for few more mins. now add chopped avarakkai and add little water and allow it to cook till done.
