Jeera Pulao


Ingredients:
  • Oil 
  • Whole garam masala
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Pre soaked Basmati rice - 1 cup (pre soaked for minimum 30 mins).
  • Green chilli - 1 
  • Mint leaves - lil
  • Coriander leaves
  • Potato - 1/2 of medium sized finely sliced (opt)
  • Peas - 1/4 cup (opt)
  • salt
  • Fried onions (opt)

Preparation:

Oil + Whole garam masala (cardamom + cloves + bay leaf) + Jeera . After Jeera Splutters, add green chilli finely sliced + mint leaves (opt) + coriander leaves + potato (opt) + peas (opt) --> Cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Now add water (quantity of water should be twice the amount of Basmati rice). When the water begins to boil, add salt and the pre soaked basmati rice to it and keep the flame on medium high. When the rice gets 90% cooked, change the flame to low and cook in lowest flame for another 10 mins. Garnish with fried onions and coriander leaves.

Baked - Potato Stuffed Mushroom


Ingredients:
  • Whole Button Mushroom - 1 packet (8 oz)
  • Mozeralla cheese (or any grated cheese of your choice)
For stuffing:
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Grated potatoes
  • Green chilli finely chopped (opt)
  • Chilli pdr - 1 tsp
  • coriander pdr - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin pdr - 1/4 tsp
  • Methi leaves - 10 to 15
  • salt 
  • Coriander leaves

Preparation:

Slice the stem of the mushroom to make a hollow in the mushroom. You are gonna put the stuffing here.

For the stuffing:
Grate potato. In a pan, add a tsp of oil+ lil cumin(opt) + grated potato + chilli pdr + cumin pdr + coriander pdr + methi leaves + coriander leaves and salt.

Fry till the potato gets well cooked, kinda gets mashed and the spices smell leaves.

You can modify the above to ur taste.

Once the stuffing gets cool, insert it into the mushroom. Fill in as much as u can such that you don't leave any room inside the mushroom. Top up the mushroom with grated cheese. I used Mozeralla grated cheese..You can use any cheese of your choice.

Preheat the oven to 450 F.

Spray some oil in the baking sheet and then line the stuffed mushrooms. Leave them in the oven to get cooked for minimum 10 mins.

Yummy Potato stuffed Mushrooms are ready. Serve it with tomato ketchup.
